Our ongoing clothing plus appeal has been running for seven years becoming the “Blue Bear Appeal” in 2002, after a humanitarian aid shipment of blue teddy bears was received in Crimea for orphans in the state institutions there.
The Blue Bear Appeal is the core project of NIICCA which has released hundreds of tonnes of humanitarian aid from the people of N. Ireland, from the usual clothing, footwear and household linens, to hospital equipment, school furniture and materials, office supplies and much, much more.
